Meal planning
Meal planning that writes the grocery list
Plan the week's meals and the grocery list writes itself, minus what your pantry already has.
A plan is only useful if it turns into dinner. In Rendition the week's plan, the grocery list and the pantry are one thing: plan the meals, and the list is the ingredients those meals need minus what you already have.
Plan a week in a few taps
- Drop recipes on days. The Plan tab is the week; add a recipe to a night, move it, or let Rendition suggest from what's in stock and what you haven't cooked in a while.
- Leftovers count. Mark a recipe as making leftovers and the plan offers a leftovers night after it in one tap.
- Today is tonight. The Today tab shows the meal planned for today with Start cooking right on it: step-by-step mode, timers, and the ingredients at hand.
The list writes itself
Every planned meal's ingredients land on the grocery list, merged into one line per item, grouped by aisle in shopping order, with anything the pantry already covers left off. Change the plan and the list follows.
Cook it, log it, learn from it
Logging a cook records servings, leftovers, a rating and a note, and asks whether anything in the pantry ran low, so next week's list is already right. Cook history ranks what you actually make.
Plan together
A household shares one plan, one list and one pantry across everyone's iPhones through your private iCloud, with names on who added, bought or cooked what.
