Rendition keeps the recipes you cook, plans your week around them, and builds the grocery list from what your pantry is missing. If something is not behaving, write to us — a real person reads it.
A recipe imported wrong
Paste a recipe link and Rendition reads the page; for a cooking video it listens to the narration and reads what is on screen. Both are automatic and both can be wrong. Nothing is saved until you tap Keep this recipe, and the review screen marks anything Rendition was unsure of — check amounts and times before saving. If a video never says the quantities out loud, paste the caption or a pinned comment into Revise with these details and Rendition will fill them in.
The grocery list is missing something
The list is built from your planned meals minus what your pantry already has, so an ingredient you are already stocked on is left off on purpose. Check the Pantry tab if something you expected is not there. You can always add an item by hand, and a recipe card shows Ready when your pantry covers all of it.
Managing Rendition Pro
Pro covers importing from cooking videos and social posts, translation, and recipe variations. Writing recipes, importing from a website, planning, the grocery list, and the pantry are free and stay free.
Subscriptions are billed by Apple, so you cancel them in your Apple Account rather than through us: open the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Rendition. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. If you reinstall or move to a new device, tap Restore Purchases on the subscription screen. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Your recipes and your data
Your recipes live on your device and, if you are signed in to iCloud, in your own private iCloud database — we cannot read them. Deleting the app removes the copy on your device; deleting Rendition's data from iCloud removes the synced copy. Email [email protected] and include your device model and iOS version if something looks broken — it makes the problem much faster to find.
